HOW to decide on embroidery?

When to choose embroidery

Embroidery and embroidered applications usually go with expensive apparel, or when the garment is expected to be washed & ironed on a daily basis.

Advantages

Lifespan of an embroidery is practically the same as the one of the textile itself and high temperatures or ironing are not a problem.

Minimum volume

Another advantage is that embroidery can be produced in small volumes. It is only a question of price, which, as we all know, is not always the most important criteria.

HOW long does it take?

We manage to process most orders within 2 - 3 weeks, but of course the delivery time can vary according to the given circumstances (availability of chosen garment, seasonal production capacity, etc.)

It is always best to consult the exact delivery terms with our sales team.

HOW to order?

To formally receive your order we need the following:

You should provide us with your data in one of the following formats:

Important information:

1.

Precise motive info

  • Data in vectors
  • Actual size of motive in cm
  • Exact codes of relevant thread colors or its equivalent Pantone shades (we use Marathon Vol. III and Pantone Matching System - Coated)
  • Description of the motive positioning or ideally a PDF preview

*.ai, *.pdf, *.eps, *.tiff, *.jpeg, *.psd.
sized 1:1 in minimum resolution 30 dpi.

Important information:

Please always consult with our sales team whether the intended embroidery is technically feasible.
With specific kinds of material (backpacks, jackets, etc.) it may be necessary to provide us with a sample to test if the given material is suitable for embroidery.

It is necessary to mention that even though we do our best to avoid it there is always a certain risk of spoilage. Generally tolerated spoilage level is about 1%. Therefore, when embroidering customer's own apparel, we recommend setting the garment volume so as to make sure such case does not affect the integrity of the order.

Please check with us whether the intended motive size fits the chosen garment type.
